Feelin’ Fancy Today?

February 1, 2012

How many of you college peeps like Italian food? Say, spaghetti? I know I do! College students usually don’t cook at home because they’re either too lazy or don’t know how. No worries! Spaghetti to the rescue! Spaghetti is actually SUPER easy to make and doesn’t take long at all. Another bonus to this fancy meal is that you can make it with your friends on a study-date night with them.

Each person can take on a task. One can simply boil the spaghetti noodles and drain them. One can go buy meatballs and microwave them. And one can prepare the sauce by boiling up some Prego tomato sauce. Yes, yes, it is as easy as that! When all three are done, all you do is put them together, like a puzzle! And for those cheese lovers, sprinkle in some shredded cheese in the sauce to melt and then serve with your pasta.

Wala! There you go, with your complete meal to enjoy with some friends. Add in some fancy glass cups of soda or juice and you are set for the night. This ain’t no food channel okay!? We gotta work with what we got!

If you are still  feeling lazy or fear that you’ll burn down the kitchen, it’s okay. There is still a solution to some delicious Spaghetti for dinner. Have you heard of Campbell’s Spaghetti-O’s? I’m sure you can’t go wrong with this. All you do is cut open the lid, dump it into a bowl and microwave it. Or you can dump it in a small pot and heat it up over the stove-top. Delicious, yummy, AND can save you tons of money!

Looking for a place to stuff yourself with a bunch of meat at a cheap price?
Well,  for the price of $8.99 you can have all you can eat Mongolian BBQ at Mongolian BBQ!
You can find this restaurant at:

25155 Sunnymead Blvd
Ste G-1B
Moreno Valley, CA 92553

They have a good selection of meats, veggies, and especially sauces. They also have rice and noodles that you can throw into the mix (ask the cook for rice, or rather they will ask you).

My first time ever eating at a Mongolian BBQ place was near campus (UCR). I was taught by my friend the art of packing meat and making a vegetable tower. The price of that place was about the same as the all you can eat, with what I believe was the same quality. I no longer have to see the cooks shake their heads in disapproval, and I can now enjoy eating a filling meal at a cheap price.
